Rainy days… inspired by the frist rainy day illustration and perhaps you can call it a modern ballerina version of Mary Poppins´ umbrella scene. I´m not sure why I suddely remembered Mary Poppins, as it has been years since I saw the movie or listened to the story. I had the audio tape when I was little and would listen to it over and over again.

Actually I did this prompt for #WorldWatercolorMonth before the pelican pictures. But it was simply too sunny and nice for a change, to be reminded of the rain. So now that the rain is back, it is also back to the rainy days. This is how I feel.
I think it´s nice to hang upside down every once in a while. There is actually an aerialist who performs on a giant umbrella instead of an aerial hoop. That is where the inspiration came from for this illustration.

Just as the title says, it rained that day. The rainy season started slowly at the beginning of May, so the sunny days were interrupted by several showers. I loved going there because of the amazing variety of tasty fruit and vegetables.
What´s your favourite thing about markets?
