One Week 100 People VI

Another page coloured in….I spent maybe 3 min on each sketch and then another 5 min to colour it in.

One Week 100 People V

Still having fun with this challenge. Here some of the coloured in sketched. I realized that I am either drawing kids or old people, which are both more interesting to draw.

One Week 100 People IV

I got knocked out by the flu last week… fun times… But I managed to make it to 71 people so far. I will keep on going all the way to 100 until the end of this week. It also takes me longer as I want to colour them all in.

One Week 100 People III

Here come number 10 to 14. Combination of watercolour, coloured pencils and for number 12-14 I used olive green ink for the outline that I bought some time ago but never used.

One Week 100 People II

Love how these 4 turned out. I am using the opportunity to have fun with different styles and mediums. Used a mix of sienna ink, watercolour and coloured pencils for these.

One Week 100 People

ItĀ“s time again for this fun annual art challenge – One week 100 people. And itĀ“s exactly that, you got one week to draw 100 people in any way you like.

I am using the opportunity to challenge myself to do some quick character sketches by using pinterest as inspiration. So far I“ve been having fun with it. Are you taking part in the challenge?

In the Water

As previously written, I love water. I started cold-water dipping a couple of years ago and absolutely love doing, especially in nature. But also every swimming pool in Iceland will have a cold water pot next to the hot tubs. That makes it even more enjoyable jumping from hot to cold and back.

Here is another watercolour practice from a year ago. Watercolour on hot press paper.

Take Your Pet to School Day VI

There is always someone who needs to clean up the mess. In this case the teacher.

What other kind of chaos could the pets cause?

Take Your Pet to School Day III

Last but not least, another classroom scene.

I was just thinking, would it be a interesting to do a children“s book with these images? A book with no words, but plenty to discover for kids? Let me know what you think.

And what kind of pet could be missing from the terrarium?

Have a great weekend!

What kind of pets did you have when you grew up?

Take Your Pet to School Day I

This was my first attempt at a full scene in watercolour and ink, where I put the characters of the previous posts into action.

I am very happy how it turned out. Any comments and criticisms are welcome šŸ™‚

Did you ever take your pet to school?

Character Design VI

Another character sketch. This time with pencil outline, just to try something different.

I don“t like how the dog turned out, but I actually like the softer pencil outline of the girl. What do you think? Do you prefer this over ink?

Character Design V

Tried something slightly different with this guy. Instead of the usual ink I used a coloured pencil for the outline.

What do you think?

Character Design IV

Another kid with her pet. Is it just me or do her eyebrows make her look like she is planning to cook the pig…. ? šŸ˜€

Watercolour and ink.
