Welcome to day 14 of my Inktober story. Missed the beginning? Here is where it starts.
Having searched for Grog´s wing for what felt for hours, both of them were starving. Before they knew it, they had emptied the basket.

Welcome to day 14 of my Inktober story. Missed the beginning? Here is where it starts.

Summer was so busy with work and other things, that I have been neglecting the blog and my art for the last couple of months!
This definitely needs to change! First step was taken last weekend when I finally managed to clean up my drawing desk. I now have no excuses not to start drawing next weekend.
I am also planning to do Inktober again, so I will hopefully start positing some warm-up sketches next week, just to get back into a drawing routine.
Meanwhile I started colouring in scenes from my own capybara drawing book.
Did you have a lavish Christmas feast? We for sure did! Still digesting it.
Christmas is the time of the year where you eat way too much food, while in the good company of friends. At least that’s what it was and means for me.
This illustration is also part of my latest Capybaras & Friends Coloring Book.
Happy October 1st!
It’s the beginning of Inktober! I haven’t started with the Inktober sketch just yet but will get to it soon.
Meanwhile I tried to draw something a bit different, inspired by a Draw this in your style challenge on Instagram . I haven’t really been doing people illustrations for children’s books, but I think I am quite happy with my first attempt.
What do you think?
Be like honey badger!
If you fancy getting your own supportive honey badger, check out my Society 6 shop.
I’ll be adding more honey badgers at the end of the week to the collection.
Have been eating heaps during the weekend. Time to get active again.
Capybaras are vegetarians and they eat lots of greens, sometimes more than 3-4
kilograms a day! They feed on grasses and aquatic plants, but also fruit and bark can be on the
menu.
This little chef and more fun facts you can find in my Capybara Colouring Book.
Have a beautiful Monday!
I do like a good wine. This is the last of the 100 people challlenge. Although I am already continuing with it and have reached #105 by now. I really do love to see the improvement I went through and how easy it has become to sketch people. I just need to work more on the speed. As I feel sometimes its takes me way too long.
Cheers and have a great weekend!
When I was a kid I used to love to eat lemon slices dipped in sugar. Thinking about it, even nowadays, lemons are an essential part in my kitchen. Sometime instead of tea I just drink hot lemon, and lemon is part of many dishes I cook. Pasta with salmon – lemon – cream sauce is one of my favourites.
The capybara went for a more direct approach.
Some more window shopping travel sketches from my new sketchbook.
Souvenir shop window in the old town of Edinburgh.
A cake shop display near Haymarket. Damn, I want that cake!
Last but not least. Almost forgot to post this one, the last of the inktober prompts.
Happy first advent everyone!
Trying to catch Mr Mouse turned out to be too exhausting. Therefore little Mr Fox stuffed his face with ripe grapes instead.
Hungry fox…
Fruits anyone? Whenever I am travelling, I love to go to the local markets and try new things. Or just get my dose of tasty fruits which are almost impossible to find in Iceland.
This drawing turned out rather cartoonish. Trying out different things with the remaining prompts.
