Every Wednesday is market day. There are plenty of street dogs around, either patiently waiting for leftovers or simply using the shade to take a nap.
Nice to see that the people and dogs at the market are very polite to each other.

The dog is the key detail… 🙂

What have you been eating? I used to love going to the mercado when I lived in Guatemala. The best melon I’ve ever eaten was bought there, as well as the longest lasting sandals. 🙂

Everything! All the veggies and fruits I can eat pretty much. And especially plenty of fruit that I have never seen before. I’m trying to tray it all. Everything has so much flavour. After living in Iceland for a while you forget that those things exist. I also like the taco stands 🙂
I was in Antigua 3 years ago and we would go everyday to the mercado and buy kilos of fruit and vegetables. I think to this day those were the best I ever had!

Ha! That is the same mercado I wrote of – small world, eh? (They really did have the most heavenly melons. Must have been the soil. 🙂 )
