At the market in Malinalco, Mexico VII

It feels like it has been a while since I drew the last siesta-dog. That´s what I call them. This guy was snoozing in front of my favourite taco stand at the mercado. I loved their tacos because they made them with blue corn tortillas and some papas fritas on top. The best!

Of the three different kinds of salsa on the table, I could only have one of them – the mildest – which was still super hot for my taste and I actually like spicy… Can you handle spicy salsa?

    1. Thanks 🙂 It kind of is already a book. The aim is to fill the sketchbook. But yes, I like the idea. I want to do more drawings of Mexico City after Malinalco but first need to get better paper.

        1. I’ll check her out. Finding good paper is a challenge in Reykjavik though it seems. I’ll keep using my mixed media supply until I get my next visitor from abroad to bring me some decent watercolour paper that doesn´t cost an arm and a leg. 🙂

          1. “an arm and a leg”? That is a very English expression. Is Iceland expensive? Maybe you can order by Internet? I know Tiffany sketches on Moleskine stuff, but she uses feltpens I think, not watercolours. Canson paper?

Hi, Melanie. Love your art works, always. I’ve nominated you for the 3 days, 3 quotes challenge if you’d like to give it a try. If not, no problema! Have a wonderful day, dear.
