Up to 25 percent of the honey badger’s omnivorous diet consists of venomous snakes. But the honey badger doesn’t eat snakes out of desperation but because they are an excellent source of meat and, as a slow moving prey, for him easy to hunt.
The honey badger is resistant to snake venom. Evolving to withstand snake venom is like being the only person at a party who can eat the extra-hot salsa: You get it all to yourself.

Mmmmm, snake snacks.

My 9 year old daughter absolutely loves honey badgers. Has loved them since she was probably about 3 years old. Made us put a sticker of one at the back of the Landy where we have stickers of the family!

Nice. They are cool! I only discovered them several months ago. Didn´t know they existed. But you live and you learn. So I guess now I am making up for them by drawing lots of them 😀
