Yes, what am I doing? For being a professional project manager, my art projects are currently all over the place in different stages of progress….
Instead of focusing on finishing my book, I get distracted by animal drawings and designs for Etsy….
There shall be cake!
Not sure why I am so cake focused. I had delicious baked cheesecake only yesterday! But then again, a good cake is simply a good cake.

Have been drawing a bit this week. But the weather was also horrible and I felt like being cozy under the blanket when I had the time. So I just played around with new designs for my Etsy shop.
The result…. a bunch of greeting and birthday cards.
Or maybe I just really wanted to have cake….

After doing the sketches the other day, I felt like drawing some of those badgers in big. Still work in progress.

After a months break I finally opened my sketchbook again. The result, … a bunch of honey badgers. If you have been following me for a while you might remember my previous honey badger phase. I think it is time to activate it again!
Back from a break
Had a creative break last month and I am now ready to start again full force!
The only “art” I created were these unicorn invitations in collaboration with my friend’s 5 year old daughter.
Dancing into the weekend
Here they all are, the blue-footed boobies, dancing their mating dance. I will also upload them to my Etsy shop as downloadable prints next week if you would like to put them on your wall.

Alright, I finally get a chance to use this beautiful blue ink. It took a while but I am finally adding the blue feet to the blue-footed Boobies!

Fun with Dogs
Have been messing around with the finished dog drawings to turn them into posters for my Etsy shop…. One idea was to dress them up… or to put funny hats on them… For now I only have them as curious animal prints.

Finished Book Page
Here we go. It still needs some retouching and editing but this is the raw version for now. And of course the text is missing.

I will let it rest for now and tackle some of the other book pages I am still unhappy about. Or I procrastinate and draw some more random animals for my Etsy shop... tempting! I am adding new designs daily. Go and check them out 😉

Back to Work
I finally got over my creative block, related to my book project, AND I fixed page 2 which had been bugging me for the last 3 months! So far I am quite happy with the result.

Blue feet still missing
Finished inking this little fella. Still need to add the blue fee, to make the blue-footed booby complete.
Current status of my desk as bonus.
Apparently Blue-footed Boobies are a thing
and quite popular. I only discovered these funny looking birds last week. As I am still procrastinating from other things, I felt like drawing a second one of these funny creatures.
Life is Better Upside Down
It’s been only two weeks since the last aerial hoop class, but I already miss hanging upside down in the air! Need to make sure I get to the studio on Friday.
Until then I am having fun with more poster designs for my Etsy shop.
