I thought it is about time to introduce the second children’s book that I have been illustrating. It is now available on Amazon.
Unfortunately the story is only available in Icelandic, and I don’t think there are that many Icelandic readers here. But maybe there are aspiring Icelandic learners. It is certainly suitable for them as it is intended for children 6 years and older.
The first book I ever illustrated was the story of Nobbi and his pug Kobbi, written by my friend Norbert, whichyou can find here.
The Adventures of the Little Fly is written also by an Icelandic author, Rúna Vala, and tells the story of a little fly who lives in a tree in a garden. Puzzled by the changing seasons and the change the garden goes through the little fly sets our on unexpected adventures.
The fly has no name as it is just a fly, not a very small one, but not a very big one either. Just about average.
I have been drawing a lot and because of that completely neglected all of my social media. I really need to find a balance.
I am currently in the process of creating a proper portfolio for children’s book illustrations, and I have been working on a few new drawings and techniques with watercolour, ink and pencils.
I am also in the process to finish my first own book, with the main character being the one and only, Mr Fox! More about that soon.
Meanwhile Mr Fox assists Mr Mouse to dig a hole in the forest… He hopes to find a hidden treasure somewhere.
I am also looking for first names for Mr Fox and Mr Mouse. Any suggestions are more than welcome!
What is better than a meal in good company. Another doodle trying out those Chameleon markers. Fun to try but too much hassle to use those pens if you ask me. But I do like the outcome.
Mr Fox invited Mr Mouse for a surprise birthday picnic in the woods. The weather is good and the group is enjoying their cup of tea.
