Another sneak-peak of my upcoming Mr Fox book…
Wondering what he is up to? Stay tuned.

For those of you who are not fed up yet with Mr Francis Fox and Konstantin Mouse (yes, those are the names I seem to have settled for, what do you think?), here is a little teaser of my first own Mr Fox story!
I have been working on this book for a while now, struggling especially with the fact that I am not a writer. So it will be more of a picture story for young children than a literary masterpiece….
Have a great weekend!

Today is just one of those days were I would like to sleep all day….
This older drawing is part of my Capybara Coloring Book.

Old drawing from the very beginnings of Mr Fox, but I still very much like it.
This is also part of the Mr Fox Colouring Book.

Because life is too short! Somehow I have a craving…
This illustration is also part of The Adventures of Mr Fox – Coloring Book.
More about the book you can find here.

I have been hanging in the air literally the last couple of weeks during hoop training but also emotionally I have been in bit of a slump. Tackling all the open projects I am having, is definitely helping.
That’s why I put this little guy also into the Mr Fox Colouring Book. It is not a colouring page per se, but you are more than welcome to add a colourful background. Let your imagination go wild.

“When once you have TASTED FLIGHT,
you will forever WALK THE EARTH
with your EYES turned SKYWARD.
For THERE you have been,
and THERE you will ALWAYS long to return.”
Thank you again for all the feedback regarding the cover. And I am very happy to announce that The Adventures of Mr Fox – Colouring Book, is now officially available here. More about the content of the book you can find here.
I had fun putting this little project together with old and new drawings and maybe some of the Mr Fox fans out there will enjoy it too. It is not your typical colouring book, but it also invites you to add backgrounds and add to the drawings on your own. Just like the Capybara Colouring book.
The drawings are accompanied by inspirational quotes that I personally like.
Have a great Sunday and 2. Advent!
We have a proper storm out there. I keep on adding ideas to my to-do and drawing list. So this is a good day to continue and finish with some of the other open projects I have. 🙂
I have been taking several illustrator courses in the last weeks. One of them about character design. So for a change I have been focusing on more human characters instead of animal ones. And eventually I settled on a character design I liked. Any feedback is more than welcome.
I still wanted to draw animals, so I picked the topic, take your pet to school day.

Tried something completely different as well for the raven prompt. Although I don’t feel like drawing this character is really me. I really prefer drawing animals and I feel like I haven’t found my style yet when it comes to drawing people appropriate for children’s books. I will keep on practicing though.
I am still on track with my Inktober drawings, I just haven’t managed to take photos and upload them yet. They will follow shortly.
Who else is doing Inktober here?

Continuation of introducing the Adventures of the Little Fly.
The tree of the little fly is illuminated by winter lights.

Continuation of introducing the Adventures of the Little Fly.
When the little fly woke up again and looked out of her hole in her tree, the garden looked weird. A white blanket was covering everything.
What had happened?
The mountains around Reykjavik are all covered in snow this morning. Winter has certainly arrived.
