I really was looking forward to Inktober this year, after I had so much fun last year! Check it out here.
I got my ink and sketchbook already ready a week ago. After a quiet month of not drawing a lot I was looking forward to get into it again. And I really missed using ink. Of course I already managed to get ink all over my hands. Wouldn´t be inktober without that! So let´s have fun with this!
I’m going to follow the official Inktober prompt list again. Maybe in combination with a little fox. Lets see what happens.
Nice! Looking forward to the month ahead.

Like it. Ink has the enormous advantage of working the “à-plats”. (No idea how it’s called in English) See Italian comic artists as Hugo Pratt or Micheluzzi for reference. 🙂

Yes indeed. I like the depth it creates 🙂 Never heard of those two artists. Especially like Hugo Pratts drawings. Thanks for the tip 😉

Hadn’t thought about the depth. But now that you mention it. Pratt and MIcheluzzi started drawing in the 50’s. Pratt rose to fame (he’s by far the best of the 2) late 60’s with “La ballade de la mer salée”. Being a big fan of European comics I have most of his works. If you can find “La ballade” on Amazon, it’s worth the buy.
