A bit behind but day 9…

I have been doing illustrations again for 14 Magazin which will be out at the end of this month in Freiburg / Germany.
The article deals about the revival of vintage clothing in contrast to the hunt of the ever latest fashion trends from all the discount clothing lines.
I did not feel like drawing patterns, so I experimented with a bit of collage style.
Check out these lovely business cards! A friend of mine asked me if I would like to help her to illustrate her new business page. Of course I said yes. The cards are the latest result of our little collaboration.

Made a couple of sketches for a project with a friend. Actually really like this one.

And another drawing inspired by the TV show Transparent, which didn’t make the cut.

Another drawing that I did for an article but didn’t make the cut. Inspired by the TV show Transparent.

Mannequins are standing in a row….

Absoluetly love this song
… there are people with scrubs where their heads should be.

A friend of mine asked me if I would like to do illustrations for an article she was writing about wildlife in the city of Freiburg, Germany, for the local 14Magazin. Here are the results of that collaboration which I really enjoyed.
Fell in love with pelicans while watching them surf the waves of the pacific ocean in Guatemala.
Also uploaded some other drawings.

YES! Another exhibition is coming up. This time again in the southern part of Germany, Bad Buchau to be precise. A town not far from my hometown Ravensburg that I grew up in.
The exhibition is titled “Menschen” (meaning “people” in English). It is a mix of paintings I did between 2007 – 2014. The works have been inspired by people that I meet during my travels – friends, acquaintances, random meet ups that influence you in one way or another, big or small. The exhibition is dedicated to those people.
