Another warm up drawing while drinking coffee….slowly filling up my sketchbook.

Another Caran D’ache practice. I feel like I am not there yet, to the image I have in my head, but I think it is definitely an improvement from the last drawing. What do you think?
Have a great week!

I started work on two new books. One will be my own, with the main character being the one and only, little Mr Fox. The other one is still in the planing stage. But I am excited nevertheless.
Seems for a fun warm up sketch I have settled for another fun French Bulldog once again. Also good to practice my pencil drawing skills.
So set your focus and don´t loose it.

Sun is shining, the weather is sweet. No more cats and dogs, nevertheless I drew a dog.
Let´s say he is sunbathing and enjoying the warmth.
Should I draw a cat tomorrow?

That expression came to mind when I looked out the window this morning. So naturally I felt like drawing a funny dog as the sketch of the day. Trying to get back into the habit of sketching daily.
I also felt curious of where the expression comes from and turns out it is not quite clear.
Reference image of this funny dog is from Pinterest.

I added a bit of colour to this honey badger. I am currently having fun learning Photoshop, designer programs and the like. Gotta earn that barbecue tonight by getting some work done.
Have a great weekend!
You can find this guy also in my Society 6 shop.

Another week over…
When you think you know what is best but then you have problems to follow your own smartass advice…
Good to have a reminder.
You can also find this little guy in my Society 6 shop.

Have a good weekend everyone!

Be like honey badger!

I’ll be adding more honey badgers at the end of the week to the collection.

Honey badger also need their coffee. Who else is a coffee person here?
Black or milk?
As the boyfriend would say, give me coffee as dark as my magic (or my soul) … Depends on the day.

Get ready for honey badger week!
I´ve been having this idea for a while and I finally put it into being. I have been working on a couple of honey badger designs.
I uploaded the first ones here onto my Society 6 page. Feedback is more than welcome!
If you don´t know about honey badgers, then this is the video for you. They are simply badass!
Have a great week!

Came back from holiday, full of energy and eager to work.
I got started by finishing the honey badgers I drew a couple of months ago. A few of them are still unfinished, but get ready for a week of honey badgers.
If you could be anything you want, be a honey badger! They are the most resilient tough bad-ass animals out there!
Another week over. This year just seems to fly by.
Happy weekend!

Capybaras are the life of the party…. or so they say.

The black and white version below is also part of my Capybara Colouring Book.
I would love to see your version of it!

Like with other rodents, capybaras’ front teeth never stop growing. Their incisors are strong and chisel-like, making them highly effective at cutting through grass.
In order to keep their teeth to a reasonable length, they get worn down from all the eating they do.
This little capybara and many other fun facts you find in my colouring book.
