I feel like I have been hibernating the last month… Time to do a spring clean and get active again!

Another rough sketch. Same scene as before. Had this black paper for a while and finally got around to try it out.
Any comments and feedback welcome.
Would you like to see this style in a children´s book?
There was this art vs artist posts on Instagram and I am late to the party but this was the image I put together.
It has been a though year with many downs put I have certainly learned a lot illustration wise. I still feel like I have a long way to go until I get to where I want my illustrations to be, but hey, it’s a journey.
Curious to see how my style and skills will further develop throughout the year.
What are you looking forward to?
This forest scene is inspired by the little mushroom person that came out of nowhere in the last drawing…
Another Caran D’ache practice. I feel like I am not there yet, to the image I have in my head, but I think it is definitely an improvement from the last drawing. What do you think?
Have a great week!
I started work on two new books. One will be my own, with the main character being the one and only, little Mr Fox. The other one is still in the planing stage. But I am excited nevertheless.
Seems for a fun warm up sketch I have settled for another fun French Bulldog once again. Also good to practice my pencil drawing skills.
So set your focus and don´t loose it.
Came back from holiday, full of energy and eager to work.
I got started by finishing the honey badgers I drew a couple of months ago. A few of them are still unfinished, but get ready for a week of honey badgers.
If you could be anything you want, be a honey badger! They are the most resilient tough bad-ass animals out there!
Another week over. This year just seems to fly by.
Happy weekend!
