Inktober – Day 6 – Bouquet

Welcome to day 6 of my Inktober story. Missed the beginning? Here is where it starts.

Grog and Sasha, who has nothing better to do, decide to keep looking together.

Meanwhile the flames surround a dry bouquet. Their dancing startles a group of moths that had been sleeping in it. While the moths take flight, Grog looks at them and their flapping wings with envy.

Day 2 – Passion

Putting colour on a blank surface and nature, that´s what I love. So here are both combined in this prompt for World Watercolor Month.

Capybara teeth never stop growing

Like with other rodents, capybaras’ front teeth never stop growing. Their incisors are strong and chisel-like, making them highly effective at cutting through grass.
In order to keep their teeth to a reasonable length, they get worn down from all the eating they do.

This little capybara and many other fun facts you find in my colouring book.

Day 12 – Blossoming #WorldWatercolorMonth

Flower-vase-hair. Inspiration was a post about ridiculous Instagram trends. This was apparently a thing at some point?

Anyway, flowers are blossoming. Here in Iceland the last lupins are still in bloom.

Sun is out

I spent the day in the park, where a lot of flowers are in bloom already. I tried to draw something different but ended up with this. The paper is anything but ideal but so far I haven´t found anything better at the art supply shop. I need to expand my search.

I also finally found inspirations for my Athens watercolour book and what I would like to put into it! So I will start with that later today. It took me a while to get used to the city but I think I am getting there.
