Another sneak-peak of my upcoming Mr Fox book…
Wondering what he is up to? Stay tuned.

For those of you who are not fed up yet with Mr Francis Fox and Konstantin Mouse (yes, those are the names I seem to have settled for, what do you think?), here is a little teaser of my first own Mr Fox story!
I have been working on this book for a while now, struggling especially with the fact that I am not a writer. So it will be more of a picture story for young children than a literary masterpiece….
Have a great weekend!

Today is just one of those days were I would like to sleep all day….
This older drawing is part of my Capybara Coloring Book.

Old drawing from the very beginnings of Mr Fox, but I still very much like it.
This is also part of the Mr Fox Colouring Book.

Because life is too short! Somehow I have a craving…
This illustration is also part of The Adventures of Mr Fox – Coloring Book.
More about the book you can find here.

I have been hanging in the air literally the last couple of weeks during hoop training but also emotionally I have been in bit of a slump. Tackling all the open projects I am having, is definitely helping.
That’s why I put this little guy also into the Mr Fox Colouring Book. It is not a colouring page per se, but you are more than welcome to add a colourful background. Let your imagination go wild.

“When once you have TASTED FLIGHT,
you will forever WALK THE EARTH
with your EYES turned SKYWARD.
For THERE you have been,
and THERE you will ALWAYS long to return.”
Thank you again for all the feedback regarding the cover. And I am very happy to announce that The Adventures of Mr Fox – Colouring Book, is now officially available here. More about the content of the book you can find here.
I had fun putting this little project together with old and new drawings and maybe some of the Mr Fox fans out there will enjoy it too. It is not your typical colouring book, but it also invites you to add backgrounds and add to the drawings on your own. Just like the Capybara Colouring book.
The drawings are accompanied by inspirational quotes that I personally like.
Have a great Sunday and 2. Advent!
We have a proper storm out there. I keep on adding ideas to my to-do and drawing list. So this is a good day to continue and finish with some of the other open projects I have. 🙂
Thank you everyone for the great feedback regarding the cover design!
I took all comments into consideration an tweaked the cover a bit more. The orange header was definitely a winner and I tried to keep it at least somewhat similar in style to the Capybara Colouring book.
So this is the current and perhaps final version of the front and back cover.
What do you think?

So I thought after the capybara colouring book was so well received, that I would put some of my old and brand new Mr Fox drawings together in a colouring book.
I have been playing around with cover designs on Affinity publisher, but with way too many colour and font choices, picking one is difficult. So I narrowed it down to these 4. Which one is your favourite? Take part in the poll below.

Thank you 🙂
After I felt like I was doing so well with my posting habits throughout October I fell into somewhat of a slump the last week. I have been focusing on drawing and several online are courses that I am taking at the moment instead.
I finished all of the Inktober prompts, however, I am not really happy how the last 3 turned out as I rushed them, so I haven’t posted them yet.
Here are all the other ones that I am quite happy with. I ended up with 33 drawings even with the last 3 missing as I did more than one drawing on some of the days.
Do you have a favourite?

I have been drawing a lot and because of that completely neglected all of my social media. I really need to find a balance.
I am currently in the process of creating a proper portfolio for children’s book illustrations, and I have been working on a few new drawings and techniques with watercolour, ink and pencils.
I am also in the process to finish my first own book, with the main character being the one and only, Mr Fox! More about that soon.
Meanwhile Mr Fox assists Mr Mouse to dig a hole in the forest… He hopes to find a hidden treasure somewhere.
I am also looking for first names for Mr Fox and Mr Mouse. Any suggestions are more than welcome!
Have a great week!

Mr Fox in colour!
What is better than a meal in good company. Another doodle trying out those Chameleon markers. Fun to try but too much hassle to use those pens if you ask me. But I do like the outcome.
Mr Fox invited Mr Mouse for a surprise birthday picnic in the woods. The weather is good and the group is enjoying their cup of tea.
Have a great week.

Mr Fox and Mr Mouse got together to paint some more Easter eggs. Who else has been painting eggs this year?
If you are too lazy like me to paint eggs how about making your own Mr Fox Easter print instead?
You can also get this image as high resolution file to print with different background on my Ko-fi page.
Happy Easter.

Easter weekend is coming up. I haven´t been painting Easter eggs in years. But I got inspired to draw Mr Fox painting eggs.
Are you still looking for Easter cards or wrapping paper or a little present? I put the image of little Mr Fox on Ko-fi as a high resolution image with different background colors for you to download, so you can print your own cards for friends or family.
Have a happy Easter weekend! I for my part will be out hiking in the sun.

Wanted to do something cheerful for today. Maybe even grab a Guinness later. Some of you might remember Mr Fox. He dressed up accordingly.
If you are a fan of Mr Fox, then I just added a new illustration to my shop at Society 6.
