Yes, this pose is possible. I based it on a photo. The black dots are flies… or bees? Maybe they are about to disturb her focus?

I was busy sitting in the sun the last 2 evenings and it was good, today it is back to the usual rain. Therefore, before the sumerfeeling fades, the prompt for day 15 of #WorldWatercolorMonth – On the beach.

Day 13 prompt for #WorldWatercolorMonth. Will try to catch up with the rest tonight or tomorrow. But right now it is super sunny and you never know how long it will last. First sunny day in 3 weeks! Gosh this summer is miserable.

Went on an unplaned weekend trip to the country side with no internet connection. Only beer, horses and hot tub which was fabulous, so I am three days behind with drawings.
There was no forest, only a lot of green fields and mountains all around. So this is my aerial acrobatics themed take on the prompt of day 12 – forest animals – for the #WorldWatercolorMonth

Day 11 of my aerial hoop & acrobatic themed watercolours. Prompt of yesterday is Beautiful Blooms. I am trying to catch up today with day 12.

Slightly behind, but getting there. Light and luminous prompt of yesterday. Aerial move on a chandelier? Why not.
Edit: I was clearly too lazy yesterday to do a background for this. So when I saw it again today, I felt like I needed to do something immediately about those random yellow blobs. I like it a lot better now. What do you think?

Before:

Credit for the mountain goat goes to the boyfriend aka my “creative director” as he likes to call himself.

Some fun for day 8. A superman pose on the pole. It is more difficult to get into this pose than it might seem. At least for me it was always a semi-struggle.
So here a flying pose with flying things, just for the fun of it. The little black spots are bumblebees… or flies…

From the hoop, through the hoop. Or something like that. Actually might be fun to try it.
#WorldWatercolorMonth day 7.

I was not quite sure what to do for todays prompt, so I settled for a simple pole pose – a cocoon.

This is not what I wanted it to look like at all but I did not manage to get it from my head onto the paper. I don´t have time for a second attempt but I might try to redo it at a later point on watercolour paper to get a better flow.
The move is called the side amazon, in different shades of blue.

Day 4, I’m really enjoying this.

That could be the target that the cup cake girl from yesterday was shooting at, what do you think?

I like the look of cup cakes but I actually don’t like eating them. They always seem more promising than what they taste like most of the time. However as I think they are pretty, I thought they give this the perfect touch of colour. I imagine her throwing her leg back and flipping those cup cakes against a target on the wall.
I did pole fitness for about 4 years and it was so much fun, but my back never got this bendy.

I decided to take a break of Mexico, or do it simultaneously, and to take part in the #WorldWatercolorMonth.
I am going to follow the prompt list but have an aerial acrobatics theme throughout. I started with pole fitness years ago until my wrists didn´t take it any more, then switched to aerial hoop 2 years ago but have been on a break since January because of bad wrists once again. I really miss it therefore the theme. Hope I’ll be back to it in August though.

I was amazed by these street sellers and the amount of baskets they were able to carry around. This is the same man as in the previous drawing.

This small corner shop not only sells essential food items but also their own Mezcal (like probably all the other places) over the counter. I would either go with my own bottle or just ask for a Mezcalito (1/4 litre) which they would fill into a small Coke bottle.
That stuff is delicious. Maybe good that I didn´t stay in Malinalco for more than 3 weeks…

Just as the title says, it rained that day. The rainy season started slowly at the beginning of May, so the sunny days were interrupted by several showers. I loved going there because of the amazing variety of tasty fruit and vegetables.
What´s your favourite thing about markets?

And the outlined sketch.

I saw this curious pair one afternoon in Malinalco while strolling around. They seemed to be on their way home from the park where the gardener had been working. The Bobtail lazily trotted along beside him, stopping to sniff every corner along the way.

The street dog got curious and came to say hello.
This is what the cool kids do on a weekend night in Malinalco. You get on your horse, and ride to the next Taqueria to hang out at. My friend told me that they are pretty much the local equivalent of a Harley Davidson Gang.
Love their hats.

And the work in progress. Like day and night.
