Sleepy Dog

Still learning how to use my new Caran d´ache coloured pencils. I have a vision in my mind but so far I have not been able to reproduce it on paper yet.

Practice makes perfect, so I will keep on drawing and see what comes out of it eventually.

Doggos

This is what happens when you want to use all your new coloured pencils at once. A coloured mess.

Oh well. At least I tried them all out. I will try again. But I am also on the way to buy a few more coloured pencils. Just in love with them!

Kangarooooooo

Watercolour and pencils. Bought beautiful Caran d’ache Luminance pencils and their colours are simply amazing.

Now I just need to learn of how to use them properly.

Pool Time II

Just putting out more pug illustrations from our Nobbi & Kobbi – Best Friends book.

Pugs are fun and silly looking sometimes. That’s at least my opinion.

If you and your kids like pugs, then this children’s book may be for you. My first attempt at illustrating a children’s story.

How flexible are you?

Another somewhat lazy quick sketch.

I think I am quite good with my flexibility but not anywhere near this lady with her monkey.

Don´t ask me what the monkey is doing there, he just happened to show up.

Be Like a Duck

Be like a duck. Remain calm on the surface and paddle like hell underneath.

– Michael Caine

I think I’ve finally developed quite a good routine with my daily drawing practice. This time without ink.

Street Style

They say, dogs look like their owners, or is it the other way around?

Today’s quick sketch inspired by Pinterest – A French bulldog and his stylish grumpy looking companion.

Happy Monday, off to work!

Looking Good in Pink

Ready for work.

Lately pink has become my favourite colour. What is yours? My favourite dress is bright pink.

Also still studying people´s poses from different perspectives. Pinterest has become my new best friend as source of inspiration.

Wine Time

I do like a good wine. This is the last of the 100 people challlenge. Although I am already continuing with it and have reached #105 by now. I really do love to see the improvement I went through and how easy it has become to sketch people. I just need to work more on the speed. As I feel sometimes its takes me way too long.

Cheers and have a great weekend!
