When life gives you lemons….
This whole thing started as a sarcastic joke. Now I can find out what you do when life covers you in lemons.
Last week I lost my sister. She hated it when I called her little sister. She always made a point that she was 2 cm taller than I. She was the strongest person I knew and always managed to pick herself up no matter how terrible life was to her. She always told me she is the stronger one and I agreed. She always ended up comforting me despite she being the one that was the one that needed help and comfort. Life gave her a lot of lemons.
She did not deserve any of the things she had to suffer through from epilepsy to a Narcissistic mother which is the source of all evil in our lives. Persons with covert narcissistic personality disorder are pure evil and take lives as my best friend had to experience last year as well. Her brother was encouraged to drink himself to death by his narcissistic wife over the course of 6 months. All we can do now is spread awareness about the evils of covert narcissists.
I guess life is not fair and we can only learn how to cope with it. This is for you taller sister, I love you and I will miss you terribly.

I am so sorry. Narcissistic mothers are uniquely damaging which is the only way they are special.

Thank you. Isn´t all great art born out of misery? A poet friend of mine loves the drama (but also hates it) as he says it is the greatest inspiration for his poetry in his life.

It’s terrible to lose someone you obviously loved so much, and hard to deal with. Time helps lessen your loss, but it never goes away. Words never say enough . . . take care.

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your sister. I have an idea what she (and you) must have gone through with a narcisstic mother. I have been living for 14 years with a Covert Narcisst. They are so damaging. Please let me express my heartfelt condolences.

I was saddened to see this post. I have adored your drawings for quite some time now, and they almost always bring a smile. When I read about your sister’s passing, my heart broke for you. My sister just survived covid and is now going into treatment for breast cancer. It is my worst fear that she may not survive both treatment and cancer. I don’t know what life would be like without her. I can only imagine the hole that is left in your heart. I send my sincerest condolences.

Dear Mel,
My condolences for your loss of your taller sister. I can only imagine that it must be an extremely difficult time for you and I hope that you have loved ones around you offering their support. If there is anything that a relative stranger can do for you, then please just reach out.
Wishing you all the best,
Brad
P.S. It is of comparatively little importance, but despite not dropping by for quite a while to give you a like and comment, I have been following your postings via email. Your Inktober works were particularly impressive this year and I can only encourage you to keep up the amazing work!

Dear Brad,
Thank you so much ❤ ❤ This means a lot!
I actually thought about you several times as I was missing updates on your blog and fabulous photographs. Are you taking a break from photography or just life happened? The boyfriend (he´s Swiss) and I are looking into relocating to Switzerland. So maybe at some point we can meet up for that coffee if you are around. 🙂
Cheers,
Mel

I am so sorry for your loss, Mel. My mum had a mental illness and narcissism was part of it. The criticism changes your outlook on life. I was able to forgive her because I knew she was mentally unwell and didn’t receive appropriate treatment. Personality disorder is one of the most difficult to treat with medication and therapy.
I was thinking of your sister because little capybara (nutria) have arrived at the pond. Much love. K x

Thank you so much ❤ Little nutria seem adorable. Never met one in real but someday hopefully 🙂 Meanwhile I will keep on drawing them.

Thinking of you…in the freezing cold of Texas. At least the Nutria have fur coats!
