I´m experimenting with adding a bit of colourful highlights to my ink drawings. What do you think?
I have also decided to spend Inktober to explore new and old characters.

Inktober is here again!
I think ink is still my favourite medium to draw with. I haven’t picked any particular topic to draw this year but I will just follow the official Inktober prompt list and see what comes out of it. I think I will experiment creating different characters.
Let this owl look into her crystal ball to tell you what happens next.

Happy October 1st!
It’s the beginning of Inktober! I haven’t started with the Inktober sketch just yet but will get to it soon.
Meanwhile I tried to draw something a bit different, inspired by a Draw this in your style challenge on Instagram . I haven’t really been doing people illustrations for children’s books, but I think I am quite happy with my first attempt.
What do you think?

Continuation of introducing the Adventures of the Little Fly.
The tree of the little fly is illuminated by winter lights.

That expression came to mind when I looked out the window this morning. So naturally I felt like drawing a funny dog as the sketch of the day. Trying to get back into the habit of sketching daily.
I also felt curious of where the expression comes from and turns out it is not quite clear.
Reference image of this funny dog is from Pinterest.

Have a good weekend everyone!

Be like honey badger!

I’ll be adding more honey badgers at the end of the week to the collection.

Honey badger also need their coffee. Who else is a coffee person here?
Black or milk?
As the boyfriend would say, give me coffee as dark as my magic (or my soul) … Depends on the day.

I self-published another book!
For all those capybara fans out there, I put several of my capybaras together and made a colouring book!
The book has 18 unique capybara ink illustrations that you can colour in. Put some funny mustaches on the capybaras and add creative backgrounds.
You’ll also find some fun facts about these adorable rodents throughout the book. So it is not only fun images but also a little bit educational and entertaining.
More details about the book you can find here.
Or go straight to Amazon and order it. The perfect present for young and old.

I do like a good wine. This is the last of the 100 people challlenge. Although I am already continuing with it and have reached #105 by now. I really do love to see the improvement I went through and how easy it has become to sketch people. I just need to work more on the speed. As I feel sometimes its takes me way too long.
Cheers and have a great weekend!
