Not even a week in and already running late… Little fox is exploring a bit more of the dark forest.

I really was looking forward to Inktober this year, after I had so much fun last year! Check it out here.
I got my ink and sketchbook already ready a week ago. After a quiet month of not drawing a lot I was looking forward to get into it again. And I really missed using ink. Of course I already managed to get ink all over my hands. Wouldn´t be inktober without that! So let´s have fun with this!
I’m going to follow the official Inktober prompt list again. Maybe in combination with a little fox. Lets see what happens.

Sometimes it feels like the world is upside down… or you want to be upside down?
Another one for the animal yoga series.

I went to yoga/ flex class the other day and it was super exhausting. The whole time I felt like I am struggling against my inner sloth. I am pretty sure that that´s what it was.
What inner animal are you struggling with?

I´m still using my ink. This one was inspired by a comment of Wes on one of my last yoga scenes. Thank you!
I leave it up to you whether the tiger is waiting to eat her or there to empower her…

Another yoga session. This one for all the cat lovers amongst you. I think you can figure out my take on cats and yoga?

Anyone feels like doing more yoga?
Another one that I started for the Inktober prompt Stretch, but then felt like I had messed up the inking. So I left it until I was bored the other day and I finished it. I don´t think it is that terrible after all.
Now I´m thinking if I should add colourful yoga mats to the other drawings too? What do you think?

Yes, I just discovered the slide show feature.
Number 2 of dog yoga drawings. I started sketching this one for the Inktober prompt – Stretch – but then went with the other one as I thought it was more fun. But I think these two are not doing so badly either.

This was the first draft for the thunder prompt. She´s braving the thunder storm in style.

I originally started drawing this one for the last prompt of Inktober titled slice.
But as the woman has finished eating almost all the cheese, I thought that the drawing did not fit the prompt that well any longer. Therefore, what you get are the leftovers.

I forgot to post the last of my Inktober drawings. After not having much of a social life in October, I went full force into it again since the beginning of November. So I have spent less time at home and more time out and about.
With the last prompt I decided to revisit the surreal landscape (and the man with the hat) of my first Inktober drawing. I know, the shading is all over the place. I was tired.
I really enjoyed the month though. I think I learned a lot in terms of sketching faster and also practiced “creative thinking”. Although in the end I struggled quite a bit, but I think that was more because I was juggling work and university on the side as well. I will try to keep on going with ink every once in a while and not just forget all about it again. I haven´t decided on a new project yet but I have plenty of ideas. So watch this space.

Part 2 of my series titled Cats are Assholes.
I was reminded of the phrase “Das Leben ist kein Ponyhof” (literal translation: Life is not a pony farm) the other day, and thought it is quite fitting here on the wall. It means “Life ain´t easy.”

I’m going for double trouble.

I thought this would be one of the easier prompts, but I quite struggled with it. I actually drew a total blank, so I left it for 2 days… Not sure what I want to say with this drawing either. A race to the top? Beer as reward? Where is the gift? You figure it out.

I really have been struggling with the last couple of prompts for Inktober. I feel like I slowly ran out of ideas. But after taking a short break for 3 days I finally finished the last one yesterday. So I will post the last few drawings during the week. Then I think I will be back to colour!
Don´t steal my thunder.

Apparently dog yoga is a thing? have you done it? Somehow I cannot see a dog enjoying it unless you have the right bribes.
I prefer regular yoga. But if I get a dog, I might try this.

Oktober is over and I am behind in posting the last couple of drawings. Because of work and studies I am also still missing the last two prompts. So I will just keep on going.
I realized how cruel this image is, after I googled dogs vs porcupines. So not pretty.

A Halloween inspired scribble. She is chopping watermelons, not heads or pumpkins.
Happy Halloween!

Here is a muddy cake. I quite like them. The more chocolate the better, right?
