To My Sister

When life gives you lemons….

This whole thing started as a sarcastic joke. Now I can find out what you do when life covers you in lemons.

Last week I lost my sister. She hated it when I called her little sister. She always made a point that she was 2 cm taller than I. She was the strongest person I knew and always managed to pick herself up no matter how terrible life was to her. She always told me she is the stronger one and I agreed. She always ended up comforting me despite she being the one that was the one that needed help and comfort. Life gave her a lot of lemons.

She did not deserve any of the things she had to suffer through from epilepsy to a Narcissistic mother which is the source of all evil in our lives. Persons with covert narcissistic personality disorder are pure evil and take lives as my best friend had to experience last year as well. Her brother was encouraged to drink himself to death by his narcissistic wife over the course of 6 months. All we can do now is spread awareness about the evils of covert narcissists.

I guess life is not fair and we can only learn how to cope with it. This is for you taller sister, I love you and I will miss you terribly.

Take Me Out for a Walk

The good thing about dogs is, that they force you to go out in every weather. Unless you have a dog that hates the rain and you are the one that has to force your dog to leave the house.

Here the temperatures are way below freezing, but we will head out for a walk nevertheless. Even without a dog. Have a nice weekend everyone.

I really love this little guy (although I am not a fan of pugs at all). I love dogs, the bigger the better! What about you?

A Winter´s Tale

Winter storms are still going strong here. I started to enjoy watching the snow hitting the window and got accustomed to cosy indoor life.

I am currently still working on a series of illustrations for a friend. But in the meantime I thought I put this little story of my own together.

A Winter´s Tale

On his stroll around the forest Mr. Fox was looking for a good spot to relief himself. Not paying attention of where, he just went about his business.

Before Mr Fox new what happened, he found himself in the big black mouth of the snowman who tried to swallow him whole.

But after the first surprise, Mr Fox started to put up a fight.

On it went. The struggle continued for a while, but eventually Mr Fox was able to free himself and ended up victorious.

First time attempt at a self-portrait. It shows my attempt at a selfie at the gym after getting my first smart phone upon arrival in Athens. Yes, I am one of those old fashioned people. Was at least…

My selfie game is definitely weak (How is yours?) and pretty much non existent as I feel stupid taking them. Enjoyed the work out though.

My time in Greece is slowly coming to an end, and I am not sure how I feel about it. But first another weekend on another Greek island for me, starting tomorrow. The city is way too hot already at 36 degrees Celsius! Have a great weekend everyone!

Discovered this fella (ca 1 metre high statue) in an art gallery in Kifissia in the north of Athens. I liked his posture  and attitude and wanted to draw him. Love how he turned out. I feel like I am starting to like cats (usually a total dog person), not sure what is happening to me…?

The Jaguar and its allies

I´ve been struggling a bit to find inspiration of what to draw since moving to Athens. So  in order to have a break from aerial hoop images I tried something new – big cats.

I have been thinking about it for a while. Inspired by Josh and his blog dedicated to The Jaguar and its allies. Go and check it out! It has very good and informative articles on jaguars, other big cats and wildlife conservation.

Josh,thanks for your encouragement, and I mentioned a while ago that I will try to do something with big cats, so this is attempt number one.
