Kobbi the pug decided to head to the pool to chill out with his favourite yellow duck. He loves hanging out in the water. Can someone get him a drink?
Got inspired by a fabulous pair of high heels. I would like to wear them but then I like my feet more. I think it is simply not worth it to endure the pain. I have tried many high heels over the years and if I should one day come across the perfect pair I will grab them.
Until then I will simply enjoy my more moderate heels.
Ok, maybe that´s a bit too harsh. Let´s put it that way. I don´t entirely dislike it but I am definitely a good weather camper. Or glamper!
Camping in the Icelandic highlands this summer in perfect conditions was the best that could have happened and I thoroughly enjoyed it. But I do want good food, a cosy mattress and sunshine. Otherwise I will be miserable.

Which one is your favourite Inktober drawings so far?
Sand boarding! Never tried, but would like to. Although I imagine falling to be quite nasty. I rather have my head buried in the snow, as it happened countless times while snowboarding, than in the sand.
It took me a while to figure this one out. And I am not sure where the idea came from in the end. Maybe my need for sun and the beach?
Mr Fox went snorkelling today to look for a precious sea shell.
Went on my first multi-day hike this summer in the Icelandic highlands. 5 days, ca 75 km in total, with tent and food and all. The weather was perfect to say the least. We met almost no people along the way and the scenery was breathtaking.
My backpack was also rather bulky because of the survival sleeping bag I had with me, taking up a good amount of space. All in all the hike was amazing and I am up for another one next summer!
I fell in love with Mexico because of its contrasts and colours. Especially in Mexico City you encounter so many different people. These fancy dressed girls on Avenida Horacio in Polanco, looked ready to hit one of those upscale restaurants you can find here.
I just went to that barrio for lunch and a stroll. Most of the places are way out of my budget.
So this week once again just flew by quickly.
As the weather forecast is fantastic for the next couple of days, I will be off to a hiking trip in the Icelandic highlands. I also promise that the pelican series will come to an end soon. Latest when Inktober starts!

Off to the countryside to barbecue some fish. We not gonna catch it ourselves, that is too much work. But the eating part, we certainly can do.

Pelicans are very social birds. They live in large colonies composed of several hundreds of birds. A group of pelicans has numerous collective nouns, including pod, scoop and squadron.

I am currently doing a study of pelicans for an image making course I am taking. After months of absence from drawing I am getting into it again. That means you can expect more pelicans.

Made it to the last prompt of World Watercolor Month – Favorite Colors! I was at a total loss of what to draw, so I took my favourite photo of me and the boyfriend from our fabulous Crete trip in April as inspiration, and just went with it. It is basically us monkeying around in a beautiful forest.

Almost there, almost a month late! Too many things & lovely visitors happened in between to keep up the daily routine. Oh well… It’s almost weekend again.
Not sure I´ll be partying like one of those wild things… The inspiration for this prompt was spring break… I witnessed it once last year in Mexico by accident, and hope I will never again!
